I think this poll would be more intereted if some aditional information as city, country and email address that could help to do a world directory of all agapornis or lovebird breeders.

  23. Arnaldo Repollet

I am interested to see the final results. The limited availability of good specimens of species such as canus, pullarius, nigrigenis and lilianae difficult to breed these in Puerto Rico.

Mooie poll. Gezien de reacties blijkbaar genoeg animo om nader tot elkaar te komen via het web. Evt een optie bij de site van bva een forum te maken

  40. Wessel van der Veen

I breed Agapornis lilianae exclusively since 2/1/1990.

Due to a combined Polyoma end PBFD infection I lost 58 birds in 2009.
After restarting in 2009 I now keep a closed aviary
in which all adult birds have tested Polyoma negative.
Owner bred youngsters also are APV tested and DNA sexed at the age of around 6-7 month.

By the end of this year I’m willing to trade some APV negative and DNA sexed 2012 chicks (up to 8 generations owner bred) for similar tested and sexed specimen.

    Wessel van der Veen.
